VIBRATION INSTITUTE COURSES - 2009- You must make your own hotel reservation. The Institute reserves blocks of rooms at the hotels in which the Basic Machinery Vibrations, Machinery Vibration Analysis, Balancing of Rotating Machinery, and Rotor Dynamics and Balancing courses are scheduled. These rooms are held for the Institute until one month before a course begins. If you need overnight accommodations, contact the hotel directly. To avoid confusion about rates, please inform the hotel that you are attending an Institute-sponsored course when you make your reservation. The exceptions to this policy are the courses scheduled for Graves' Mountain Lodge in April. You must make your room/board reservation directly with the Institute and pay in advance or guarantee payment with a credit card. Directions to the Lodge are sent to registrants.

The Vibration Institute is not responsible for the purchase of non-refundable airline tickets or the cancellation/charge fees associated with canceling a flight. Please confirm that the course will be held before purchasing airline tickets. The Vibration Institute retains the right to cancel a course until three weeks before the first day of the schedules class.
REGISTRATION
The course fee covers the cost of all sessions, demonstrations, luncheons, breaks, and course notes/materials. Please register with the Institute in advance; use the registration form on the Institute's web site. Participants will receive confirmation of registration by mail. If you do not receive a letter confirmation, please call our office at 630-654-2254 to make sure your registration has been received. Make all checks payable to the Vibration Institute.
Cancellation of registration will be honored, and full fee refunded, provided written notification is received at the Institute office no later than one week before the opening date of each course. A $200. fee will be charged for later course cancellations and $50. for later exam cancellations.
Please remember that if you arrive at the course and/or certification exam without prior registration, payment
must be made in full or you will not be admitted.- Introduction
